In the Dec. 24, 2007 issue of Barron's, a business journal, David Walker, Comptroller General of the United States, America's head accountant for all finances, writes:

"The federal government's total liabilities and unfunded commitments for future benefit payments promised under the current Social Security and Medicare programs are now estimated at $53 trillion in current dollar terms, up from about $20 trillion in 2000. This translates into a defacto mortgage of about $455,000 for every American household, and there's no house to back this mortgage."

In other words, America is bankrupt!

Restore the economy -- free up business from onerous outdated regulations.
Restore proper use of the military (136 nations have U.S. military presence.)
Restore integrity to the treaty process to protect America's interests first.
Restore individual privacy and say "no" to the Real I.D. Act.
Restore high quality medical care at affordable prices.
Restore checks & balances -- the executive branch has gotten too powerful.
Restore integrity in the campaign financing process.

Restore and retain rights to unregulated health supplements & the Internet.

The following will be my top priorities in Congress:

Create a level playing field for Americans who receive the benefit of Workmen's Compensation, mandatory health insurance, retirement benefits, taxes, OSHA, EPA etc. and calculate that into the cost of the products manufactured so that any foreign country not providing the same benefits to their employees would have to pay a tariff on their imported products to equal that amount.
Support a bill that calls for a single subject on all spending bills.
Oppose unconstitutional spending in the form of corporate subsidies.
Oppose unconstitutional spending in the area of education so that "No (every) Child Left Behind" is abolished.
Hold the Federal Reserve to account for their corruption of the dollar which has driven up the price of everything way beyond what any normal person can even consider affording!
