George Lilly U.S. Congress
George Lilly is opposed to the bailout and will vote against any renewals. Dianna DeGette voted for it -- twice in one week.
What did Denver County's Congresswoman (CD1) have to say about the bailout?

"I am not happy that the Senate loaded this bill up with pork, but I supported it..." Denver Post / Rocky Mtn News

"Despite my hesitations, I supported this bill -- not because I wanted to..." DeGette press release

Rep. Diana DeGette (D - Colo.) says her office got flooded with calls from constituents who did not want the so-called bailout plan to go through. Despite those pleas, she voted for the measure ... "this is what separates the men from the boys and the girls from the women." 9news

Does Diana DeGette consider citizens who call in to voice their concerns boys and girls?

What will George Lilly do?

One of the reasons that I am running is to provide a representative in Washington who will actually listen and take heed to the voters of Colorado. We're not talking Republican or Democrat issues here, what I'm talking about is being the kind of Representative that will answer phone calls from my district and never, ever send out an automated reply that says, "Thank you for contacting my office. I will consider your input on future legislation."

I have to respectfully say that Diana DeGette has distanced herself from Denver voters and has failed to live up to her oath of office. I do think that DeGette should continue her work in D.C., but she needs a different venue and title to do so because Diana DeGette is no longer working for Denver. It's time for Denver to have a new representative who will personally answer emails and calls, who will stay connected to Denver, and who will never answer to lobbyists and special interests groups. The only special interest I'll work with is those of the people of Denver, Colorado, and the United States.

Unlike my opponent, I won't:
Instead, I will:
